Welcome to the Cheyenne Mountain Heritage Center!

We have a new look, new attitude, and new excitement about a future of sharing the past.  “To gather and share the unique inheritance and traditions of the Cheyenne Mountain region” is our mission.  Enriching your life is our goal. 
What will you find at the Cheyenne Mountain Heritage Center?  Here is just a glimpse of some of the exciting activities and resources that are becoming available:

• A speaker series that showcases wonderfully stories, regional history, and colorful characters.
• Our Historic Highlights link where there will be a collection of historical facts, figures, dates, times, and places available for your reference and referral.
• The Education Corner link being built especially with teachers and home school families in mind and a goal to provide programs, lesson plans, games, and activities that can be shared with students and lifelong learners of all ages.
• An extensive Photo Gallery, both on the website and on exhibit, that will share a pictorial view of life in the Cheyenne Mountain region from past to present.
• Publications, books, movies, a reference library, and so much more.
